Miss Alice Ann Alexander of Rt. 3 Double Springs, 83, died Wednesday at Burdick West Hospital in Haleyville. Funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. The Rev. Midge Rice officated. Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs directed. Survivors include four brothers, C.A, Florence D, Grady and Johnny Alexander; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Mayberry, Mrs. Burdie Williams, Mrs. Virgie Williams and Mrs. Novie Patton. And a host of nieces and nephews.
