Rev. B.F. Shank Goes to Reward

Rev. B.F. Shank, one of Northwest Alabama's pioneer Baptist ministers, died at his home at Natural Bridge Sunday at noon. Mr. Shank had been in feeble health for several months and at the time of his demise, had been confined to his bed for several days. He was about seventy-eight years of age at the time of his death. Mr. Shank was the father of Mrs. W.A. Gamble of this city [Double Springs]. His remains were interred Monday near his old home. The Haleyville Spotlight. [He is buried at Concord (6/1/1861 - 10/18/1931)].
