Whit Butler died January 14, 1923. Age 98 years 6 months 17 days 
Bud Butler died Sept. 23, 1911 making his stay here 51 years. 
Susan Butler died Feb. 19, 1900 
James Butler died September 20, 1918 making his stay 84 years 9 days 
William Butler died September 18, 1912 making his stay on earth 88 years 7 months and 10 days 
Marm White was borned Jan. 29, 1851 making her stay here 67 years 33 days.  Died March 4, 1918 
Jimmy Butler died Feb. 20, 1923 
John Butler and Emily Gregg were united in marriage at Rockdale (Randolph Co, Al.) 
on the 16 day of Nov. 1871. Signed C. W. Gregg, John McCrellus and M. M. Butler 
Daniel Gordie Morgan and Mary Frances Butler married Aug. 4, 1892 
William Hamilton (could be Hampton) Smith and Emma Virginia Butler married Oct. 20, 1898 
John David Sides and Nancy Butler were married August 25, 1904 
Joe A. Robinson and Ameliann Butler were married Jan. 8, 1905 
Virgil Lee Chambers and Sara Delila Butler were married Dec. 25, 1906 
Emmett Arthur Woodley and Martha Eliza Butler were married Oct. 17, 1909 
J. W. Wideman and Susan Ameliann Butler Robinson were married Jan. 6, 1918 

This Bible was owned by John Butler and his wife, Mary Emily Gregg Butler. 
They moved to Winston County from Etowah County in the 1890s. John died in 
1909 but Mary Emily remained in Winston County until her son and his family 
moved to Walker Co.  Entries are copied just as they appeared in Bible.
