Elmer Lonnie Sides, 88, Nauvoo, died Friday at Peoples Hospital. His funeral was held Sunday, 2 p.m. from Liberty Grove Baptist Church with internment in the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. Clyde Latham, the Rev. J. D. Millwood and the Rev. Delmus Anthony officiated. Collins Funeral Home directed. He is survived by his widow, Myrtle Lee Sides; two daughters Laura Gober, Pleasant Grove and Easter Lee, Carbon Hill; Three sons, Woodrow Sides, Bayview, Graman Sides, Douglasville, Ga. and Ottis Sides, Jasper; two stepdaughters, Thurline Cook, Double Springs and Lurene McConnell, Nauvoo; one stepson, Earl Williams, Jasper; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
