Double Springs - Fred Burton McCullar, 79, Double Springs died Tuesday, May 5, 1981 at Estes Health Care Center of a heart condition. He was born in Alabama and was a retired farmer. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 6 at 2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home Chapel, Double Springs with Rev. Ronald Gilbreath and Rev. Mike Glenn officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery with Nichols Funeral Home directing. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Reba Hamby, Haleyville; four grandchildren, Lynda Thrasher, Sheffield, Freddy Cooper, Harpersville, Diana Bradford; Birmingham and Mike Cooper, Warner-Robbins, Ga; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Ida Butler, Double Springs, Mrs. Ila Donaldson, Haleyville, Mrs. Katie Cauthern, Haleyville and Mrs. Ernestine Gipson, Decatur.
