DOUBLE SPRINGS--Funeral services for J.C. Gossett, 48, of Double Springs 1, were held Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. from Old Enon Church in Winston County. Rev. A.G. Higdon officiated. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery, Nichols Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Gossett died suddenly Nov. 13, 1969 of a heart attack at his residence in Winston County.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marrie Gossett, Double Springs; one son, Elbert H. Gossett, Double Springs; two daughters, Mrs. William L. Sullivan and Mrs. James O'Hanlon Jr., both of Tuscaloosa; two grandchildren; three brothers, James D. Gossett, Tuscaloosa; J.P. Gossett, Double Springs, and R.C. Gossett, Jasper; and a host of other relatives.
