John Marlin Wilson

John Marlin Wilson was born in Alabama on 18 Jan 1845. He enlisted in Company D of the 13th Alabama Partisan Rangers, CSA under Major Hewlett at Jasper on 6 Sep 1862; promoted to 4th Sergeant in 1863. The 13th Alabama was reorganized as the 56th Alabama Partisan Rangers on 8 Jun 1863. Wilson died 23 Dec 1903. He was buried in the Old Oak Grove Cemetery.
