Obituary. In memory of little Lizzie Mae Jones, infant of Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Jones of Haleyville, was born Oct. 18, 1907 and died Sept. 17 1908, after several days illness. God has given and He has taken away; while it may he hard to say, yet we can do nothing more than say blessed be His name. Little hands beckon to a sad hearted father and mother to come up there after the toil of life is over. May the Lord give to the bereaved parents the consciousness of His unfailing presence and allow them to taste of the sweet comfort of the Holy spirit’s abiding presence. May He also daily bear their burdens. C.A. Mullen.
