The Winston County Genealogical Society met at Pork and Beans in Double Springs.

I. Minutes:

1. Minutes from the last meeting were read and approved.

II. Treasurer’s Report:

1. Checking - $1,293.67

III. Old Business:

1. Carolyn provided a current list of members and reported that membership is slow.
2. We are nearly back in the archives. A tentative date of April 1st is scheduled for the opening. A special meeting may be called.
3. We had an enjoyable trip on the west/southwest Winston County tour. An article on Millstone Mountain is in the works.

IV. New Business/Upcoming Events:

1. Darryal suggested that a message be placed on the web site mentioning that dues are due.
2. Also in the works is a new look for the front page containing a collage of town signs.
3. The newsletter is out.
4. A special program is being looked into for the next meeting.
