    2. No Petty Cash Report

III. Old Business:

    1. Chad Fell program chairman of the Haleyville Civitan Club spoke with us for a few minutes requesting 2 volunteers to come to their next meeting on 26 June2012 at 12:00 noon at the Galley restaurant. Where lunch will be provided to explain and discuss the Free State of Winston barn and what is taking place there. Mr. Fell as well as Dianne and others feels as though this would be a good opportunity to spread the word even further to the public about what is being done.
    2. We need volunteers to finish the Arley 1940 census. The copies of the census have been indexed and put into notebooks to be kept here at the Archives for the use of anyone who would like to use them. We feel like these books will be a vital piece of inventory to help with families doing research.
    3. Dianne is still working on the inventory; it has been more complicated than first thought but upon completion will be repeated at least annually to insure that everything on the inventory stays in the Archives.
    4. The Newsletter is printed and available. It is as good as always, thanks PJ. PJ would like stories for the September 2012 addition.

IV. New Business:

    1. Ronald Jackson suggested we need to have another marriage book. Dianne said we need to do some price checking and verify the pricing and put it together to present it to the probate judge. Ronald Jackson made a motion to start doing this and PJ Gossett seconded and the motion carried.
    2. Office and Fold 3 have been installed on the Archives computers; we think they are going to prove very useful to us.
    3. Next month (July) Robin Sterling will be here to do our program and will bring his new book that he has written to sale. Trevia is going to get in touch with him prior to the meeting and suggest for him to bring a variety of his other books to sale after the meeting.
    4. Steve Turner who had been scheduled to do our program had to be reschedule as something unavoidable came up. So we scheduled him for August 2012.
    5. Jerry Lovett suggested Paul Pounds might be someone of interest for a presentation maybe that we ought to consider.
    6. Angela Barnett discussed the names of the families that she is looking for.
    7. PJ Gossett asked about the old newspapers that we have been trying to get from Walker County. Dianne and Jerry think that they have been misplaced and that they have done some moving around so more than likely they are gone.
