Old Business:

Treva and Dianne made the grand announcement that our Winston newspapers that we have tried for so long to get from Walker County have, at long last, come back home.

Dianne asked Judge Moore about the status of scanning the 3rd marriage book. She reported there has been no progress in acquiring the remainder of the money to do this.

P.J. asked about the flyer for the Mailing we voted to do in January. Treva, Dianne and P.J. will work on it Saturday, Dec. 1st.

Treva reported the 1st Al Cav. Unionist Book we voted to purchase at the last meeting has been received.

The Eagle Scout flag project is under way. The concrete has been poured and looks really nice. Planters will be added around the flag also.

New Business:

P.J. reported the June newsletter will be complete in a couple weeks.

Dianne’s Georgia friend has donated a book to the Archives about an historical cemetery in Elbert County, GA.

The Society voted to have our annual Christmas dinner at Sapore Grill on Tuesday, December 11th at 6:30.

No further business. Meeting adjourned.
