Obituary. Died at her home near Lynn, Winston County, April 8, 1899, Mrs. Nancy M. Martin, wife of Frances Martin, age, about 36 years. She leaves a devoted husband, six children, and four brothers and three sisters (Mrs. J.L. Wright being one of the latter) to mourn her untimely death. She was a God fearing woman, a consecrated member of the missionary Baptist church for several years before she died. When the summons came for her to go, she peacefully fell asleep in Jesus. we have every assurance for hope that she is enjoying that sweet rest that awaits the faithful in Christ, for he has said, "Come all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give ye rest."

Weep not dear husband
For your dear companion;
Weep not dear children
For your dear mother,
For she is not dead,
But sleepeth
And awaits your coming.
