My cousin Peggy Williams owns the account ledger kept by our gt-grandfather Tillman Reeves when he lived in Winston County. His customers ran a tab & paid periodically. Peggy copied every page for me, and perhaps some of the names below are still familiar in Winston County: A.B. Hays, Hiram Adkins, Hiram Underwood, A.M. Little, Jas. H. Hefner, Jam. N. Bynum, J.M. Cole, I. Hatchett, George Hughes, J.W. Adkins.
These are all dated 1874 & 1875. Each name has a page, at least. I will add more names later, & will be glad to send a descendent a copy of a page.
