Ona - I am working on one son of Moses Sr. who I believe was from SC. Son is James Allen Barton, born Monroe Co. AL about 1817, died Walker Co. AL 8 April 1860, married Celia Ann Brock born Tennessee about 1822. James A Barton and Celia are in Walker Co. census 1850, page 316, then James died but "Cela" Barton is in 1860 census page 887. My G-grandmother Lucinda Jane Barton is their daughter, still verifying this. If this info proves out, then Moses is my GGG-gf and James Allen is my GG-gf.
