Aaron Livingston was a private in Co. I, 1st Alabama Cavalry. He was mustered in Oct. 1, 1863, Glendale, MS for a period of 3 years. He was mustered out June 12, 1865, Camp Chase, OH. Note that this was a Union unit. Apparently Aaron was one of the many in Winston Co. who fought for the Union. Any information on him would be appreciated--his parents, etc. I believe he was a son of William Carvin Livingston and his wife Elizabeth (Clark?). Thanks. patdakin@mindspring.com
