The above delegates and contestants and their leaders attended the 33rd annual state 4-H Camp held at the Auburn University Campus, July 6th - 11th, 1953. A party and dance was held Thursday night celebrating the 50th anniversary of the 4- H Club. The Winston County group joined 542 outstanding 4- H girls and boys from every county in Alabama to elect State 4-H officers, attend talent shows, picnics, handicrafts classes, tractor driving contest, parties, swimming classes, training, meetings, etc.
