Thomas Anson Lee was born November 17, 1882, in Chesterfield, County, Cheraw District, SC. He came Blount County, AL around 1888 or 1889. His family came to Marion County, Alabama in 1900. Thomas married Daisy Odell Stone Lee on December 21, 1902 at the home of her parents, Samuel Brooke Stone and Mary McKern Stone. Daisy Lee was born in Fairplay, SC, Oconee, County on March 5, 1882.

Thomas Anson and Daisy were the parents of eight children:
Thomas Roy Lee Married Stelma Smith and Lera Yarber.
Jesse Graham, Never Married.
Lillie Mae Lee Married William Lee Ellenburg.
Samuel Odell Lee Married Ruby Lee Blackstock.
Carl Elmo Lee, died at age 6 years.
Winifred Lee, Died at age 19.
Audrey B. Lee died at age 14.
Robert Howell Lee Married Mary Catherine Smith.
