Polly Ann was the daughter of Charles R. Long and Rutha Katherine Honeycutt. Thomas was born November 29, 1829 in Ashe Co., North Carolina and died September 26, 1898 in Checotah, McIntosh Co., Oklahoma at the home of his son, Columbus Winfield (Sam) Baker. Polly Ann was born January 23, 1833 in North Carolina and died October 8, 1892 in Clarksville, Johnson Co., Arkansas.
