This is a photo of Benjamin Franklin Baldwin that was taken in Winston County in the early 1900s. He was born February 14, 1888 in Limestone County, TX. His parents were Irvin Baldwin and Samantha (Whisenhunt) Baldwin from Winston County, AL. When Ben was 15 months old, his father died, and his mother brought him back to Winston County and raised him there. She later married James McNeal. Samantha McNeal is buried in Bethel Cemetery, Winston County, AL. Ben Baldwin is buried in Tuscaloosa County, AL. He married Martha Leah (Lizzie) Cowden who also lived in Winston County for awhile. They have two babies buried at Bethel Cemetery.
