John Aaron and Patience "Pachie" (Taylor) Stevens with two sons, Verbon Stanley (youngest) and Hosey Ottis. All of the Stevens family were born in Winston County, Alabama. When Verbon was 3 years old, the family moved from Winston County to Lawrence County, Tennessee. Submitted by Linda Munroe.
