William J. Rowell: Pvt., Co. K, age 38, EN & MI 7/24/62, Huntsville, AL, born Randolph Co., 
AL, farmer, left in Marion Co., AL recruiting 10/24/63, on detached service as teamster in 
Sherman's expedition at Vicksburg, MS 1/24/64, POW 3/10/65 from Monroe's Crossroads, near 
Fayetteville, NC, dishcarged 6/12/65 at Camp Chase, OH. Married to Martha Ann Kennedy; 
buried Rowell Cemetery West of Natural Bridge.  William J. Rowell died on June 6, 1866.

From the four-way stop in Natural Bridge, go on Hwy. 278 West, go past Hwy. 13, and turn left 
on County Road 9.  Go 4.1 miles and turn right onto County Road 3614 (dirt road, may have 
gate across road).  Go 2.4 miles and cemetery is on the left.
