: : : I AM LOOKING FOR ANY INFORMATION REGARDING THE TWO FAMILIES.ANY RELATIVES OUT THERE, STILL LIVING IN THE AREA?? I NEED THE NAME OF THE CEMETERY THAT THE CRANES WOULD BE BURIED IN. I HAVE SOME INFORMATION ON THE BAUGHNS. I AM A GRANDDAUGHTER OF ZODA ANNIE BAUGHN-CRANE AND CLYDE WHEELER CRANE.

: : follow-up: hello Linda, my gggrandfather was Frederick (Cap) Baughn. i am descended from his daughter Nancy who married James Melton Cagle. my grandmother was Sarah Cagle Martin Tirey(Tyre). i have quit a bit on the Baughn's but none on the Cranes although i do know a few. if i can help let me know.
: fOLLOW UP TO THE FOLLOW UP:Thank you I would appreciate any info you have. I am getting some info on the Cranes from my cousin James Crane that is working on the family tree. His bother Ray Crane SR. passed away Dec 12, 2001, he was only 45. Then my mom Thelma Crane passed away Dec 20, 2001. We lost two precious people, and they were very close. My mom had a special place in her heart for her neices and nephews. I am trying to find an Aunt/Grandma in the family. LAST NAME:Beatty/BEATTIE, I think her first name was Jane. I cannot find any Beatty/Beattie names in the family history, but do recall family speaking of her. And that she was Indian, and a half sister to either Zoda Baughn or Clyde Crane. I wish I woul have ask my mom more quetions.
: Thanks again. Linda Beasley-Vida

Polly Beaty Baughn is who you are talking about. She was part Creek Indian. She married Fredrick Jackson Baughn. She was my great-grandmother. I guess that would make her Zoda's mother. Do you know if Zoda was also called Martha?
